Errata
1. Chapter 5: Wood, Plain or Inlaid, p. 104. The inclusion of the sub-heading 'Components of Tea chests and Caddies' is incorrect and should be ignored.

2. Chapter 5, Plain or Inlaid, p. 106. The description 'turned gadrooning' should read 'carved gadrooning'. Gadrooning cannot be produced by turning on a lathe.

3. Chapter 17: Silver. Today, the term 'caddy' is often used to refer to tea canisters that have been separated from the chest in which they were originally housed, as well as to individual, free-standing caddies. This is particularly so in the case of silver caddies and canisters.
